Enchantment is the ability to grant additional capabilities to equipment.
Enchanting orbs can be obtained through stage progression, synthesis, etc.
Certain weapon enchantment orbs allow you to enchant a weapon with an attribute. When using a weapon with attributes, the attributed effects are added to normal attacks and skills without the attributes.
If an attribute effect is given, you can receive an “enhanced attribute”. When the value of each attribute is 100 or higher, the magic of that attribute is summoned to inflict damage. This damage increases for every 100 attribute values. In addition, the following additional effects occur depending on the attribute type and value:
- Fire: Activates a debuff that increases the target’s damage for 5 seconds when attacking with a fire attribute / Increases by 0.5% for every 100 fire attribute values- Ice: Activates a debuff that reduces the target’s attack and movement speed by 20% when attacking with an ice attribute / Increases the duration by 5 seconds for every 100 cold attribute values
- Dark: Activates a debuff that reduces the target’s attack power for 10 seconds when attacking with a dark attribute / Increases the target’s attack power by 5% for every 100 dark attribute values
- Lightning: Activates a debuff that reduces the target’s attack and movement speed by 80% when attacking with lightning attribute / Increases the duration by 2 seconds for every 100 lightning attribute values
- Poison: Activates a debuff that reduces the elemental resistance of the target for 10 seconds when attacking with a poison property / Increases the reduction by 2% for every 100 poison property values
