November 18 is when New Zealand gets its hands on GTA 6. Mexico is stuck waiting another 19 hours. Identical game, identical week, completely different mornings.
November 19 is the release date Rockstar Games has locked in. Precisely what that date delivers in practice comes down to where on the map you happen to live.
Where the 19-hour gap comes from
Those regional figures originate with a fan site that combed through PlayStation Store data covering 15 regions to pin down exact unlock windows. It’s a third-party interpretation of store listings rather than anything Rockstar published, so the numbers should be read as an unverified report and not an official timetable.
What follows is the usual staggered-launch pattern. Countries sitting on the near side of the international date line go first, with New Zealand leading everyone at 11:00 UTC on November 18. A full day early, strictly speaking, if you feel like being pedantic. Kiwis generally do.
At the opposite end sit Mexico, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua, which reportedly stay locked out until 06:00 UTC on November 19.
The rest of the map, hour by hour
The bulk of continental Europe opens up at 23:00 UTC on November 18 — midnight CET. An hour later, the UK follows at 00:00 UTC on November 19, which also lands on local midnight, the sort of coincidence that makes the rollout look neater than it really is.
Western Canada sits further back in the queue. Access there reportedly arrives at 05:00 UTC on November 19.
India has to do a little math
No individual unlock time was reported for India, which wasn’t among the 15 regions covered. Working from the UK’s 00:00 UTC unlock on November 19 and India’s UTC+5:30 offset, though, players there can expect the doors to open around 5:30 AM IST on November 19 — provided India is folded into the same global rollout window as Europe.
That’s a heavy load for one assumption to carry. Nothing about it has been confirmed.
What Rockstar has actually said about India
The pricing side, at least, is official. Rockstar has confirmed India pricing and pre-orders are already live: the Standard Edition, covering the full base game, runs Rs. 5,999, while the Ultimate Edition costs Rs. 7,499 and throws in exclusive vehicles, weapons, outfits and additional storyline content.
Pre-order or purchase before November 20 and the Vintage Vice City Pack is included too. A free month of GTA+ comes bundled with digital pre-orders.
In India, the game launches exclusively on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There’s still no announced PC release date.
Xbox owners have the easier cheat
For anyone set on jumping the queue before their own region opens, the report points out that your platform makes a big difference. Xbox players can simply flip their console’s region settings over to New Zealand for a while — a fairly painless route in.
PlayStation demands considerably more: an entirely new account linked to a local New Zealand payment method. That’s less a workaround than a modest administrative undertaking. Whether 19 hours justifies opening a foreign payment method is up to you.
