About Siege Worlds

Siege Worlds is a web3 multiplayer first-person shooter built on BNB Chain and developed by LightningWorks. The setting positions legendary warriors from across history—gladiators, samurai, gunslingers, pirates, and figures inspired by Miyamoto Musashi, the gladiator Flamma, Joan of Arc and Annie Oakley—reincarnated on an island in a mysterious afterlife, forced into combat against monstrous hordes. Players command preset characters or construct custom fighters. The title runs as a downloadable client for Windows and macOS, and the studio released a companion comic, Siege Worlds Zero, set in the same universe.

How to play Siege Worlds

Matches emphasize cooperation and objectives. Squads defend a chain of villages, fortresses and castles, progressively falling back through fortifications as enemy forces narrow the valley, with the primary goal of protecting a central queen. Parallel side missions dispatch small teams to hunt special items and weapons capable of swinging the broader conflict. Onboarding sidesteps manual wallet configuration: launching the game displays a QR code scanned with Telegram, after which players link a DiviGo wallet from the in-game menu. The developer handles gas fees automatically, removing wallet and fee barriers to entry.

Economy and competition

Siege Worlds operates as a multi-currency system rather than relying on a single native token. Monster encounters yield cryptocurrency and weapon drops. In-game assets can be forged to increase power, traded peer-to-peer between players, and transferred to Telegram-linked wallets. Weekly tournaments award top scorers with cryptocurrency or NFT prizes, and the studio publishes sponsored maps funded by external grants, including Bleakrock Island and Harold's Island, where rewards are denominated in the external $HAROLD token.

Is Siege Worlds worth playing?

The game is free to download and does not gate entry behind NFT ownership, lowering barriers relative to asset-first blockchain titles. Prospective players should note the PC-only platform, small-team background, and the substantial pivot from its earlier MMORPG direction, with earnings concentrated primarily in tournament participation.

Siege Worlds is a downloadable cooperative first-person shooter for Windows and macOS, built by LightningWorks on BNB Chain. The framing draws from history's warriors—a samurai, a gladiator, Joan of Arc, a frontier sharpshooter—reincarnated on an island and forced to defend a valley against monster waves. Structurally it is wave-defence rather than competitive arena: squads fall back through villages, gates and bridges toward a queen, while side missions pull players away to acquire weapons that swing the primary engagement.

The most interesting design choice is the onboarding layer. Instead of a recovery seed, the launcher presents a QR code scanned through Telegram, which links a DiviGo wallet from an in-game menu, with the studio absorbing gas costs. The economy deliberately avoids a single native token, instead running multiple currencies—drops, forging, peer-to-peer trades—with some maps funded by external projects and rewarding in their tokens.

The weak points deserve acknowledgment. It is PC and Mac only, from a small team that shifted here from an MMORPG direction, and tangible earnings are concentrated in weekly tournament leaderboards rather than ordinary play. Best for shooter players who want a cooperative monster-defence session with friends and treat any token payout as bonus.

Do I need a crypto wallet or my own account to play?

No pre-made wallet needed — the game builds one for you. The Telegram route skips gas costs and wallet hassle. Payouts go straight to your wallet.

How do players earn in Siege Worlds?

Beating foes drops coins and gear you can temper for better stats. Weekly contests let top players grab crypto or rare NFTs.
