About Pixel Heroes Adventure
What is this game?
A free-to-play, retro pixel-art MMORPG built on the Ronin Network. The project previously operated under a different name and rebranded in 2024, and it was selected for Ronin's Forge builder program. It is accessible through a browser dapp at dapp.pixelheroes.io and on mobile, with accounts tied to a Ronin-compatible wallet. Heroes, pets and equipment are recorded on-chain, so in-game assets can be held or traded outside of it. The client is not open source, and the game depends on the operator's online service.

How to play
Players create an account, connect a wallet, and assemble a roster of pixel heroes supported by pets and gear. The core loop combines resource gathering and farming with hack-and-slash combat, run across PvE stages and dungeon bosses, PvP battles, and guild-oriented content. Progression comes from leveling heroes, upgrading equipment and unlocking abilities. NFT heroes are optional rather than required to start; the Play to Mint page is where minting takes place. The team also runs recurring seasonal events, such as LandZ Arena and Tap Adventure seasons, which add time-limited objectives and shared reward pools.
Tokenomics and earning
The economy uses two tokens. $ADVTR is the ecosystem token used for staking, payments and governance. MGOLD is the in-game currency, with an on-chain counterpart, $MGOLD, trading under the MGT ticker after its migration to Ronin. A Token Converter moves in-game MGOLD to $MGOLD, and the amount a player can convert is gated by how much $ADVTR they have staked, alongside Withdrawal Coupons and Genesis HeroZ Collection level. A Play-2-Airdrop campaign distributes roughly 6% of $ADVTR supply based on accumulated PlayPoints. The project additionally operates an Adventure Validator on Ronin, splitting staking rewards between development, validator operations and treasury.
Is it worth playing?
Entry is free and no purchase is needed to try the core game, which lowers the barrier compared with mint-gated titles. Meaningful token withdrawal, however, is tied to staking $ADVTR, and MGT trades at a very low unit price on a small circulating supply, so earnings are modest and volatile. Verify contract addresses through the official documentation before transacting.

A retro pixel-art MMORPG on Ronin, run through a browser dapp and mobile client rather than a downloadable game. It is the rebranded second life of an earlier project, and it sits inside Ronin's Forge builder programme. The loop is familiar rather than novel: gather resources, grind PvE stages and dungeon bosses, level heroes, upgrade gear, then take the roster into PvP and guild content, with seasonal events like LandZ Arena layering time-limited objectives on top.
What works is the entry point. Heroes, pets and equipment are on-chain and tradable, but NFTs are optional, so the core game can be tried without a mint — a genuine difference from titles that gate the tutorial behind a purchase. What does not work is the exit. Converting in-game MGOLD into the tradable $MGOLD (MGT) is throttled by how much $ADVTR you have staked, plus Withdrawal Coupons and Genesis HeroZ level, and MGT changes hands at a very low unit price on a thin supply. The practical result is that earning is capped by prior investment, not by play.
It suits players who want a lightweight, session-friendly grind on Ronin and treat any token flow as incidental. Anyone arriving for income should read the staking tiers first, and confirm contract addresses in the official documentation.
