What is XOCIETY?
XOCIETY is a third-person extraction shooter with RPG progression crafted by Korean studio NDUS Interactive using Unreal Engine. The game unfolds on a devastated Earth where survivors battle alien creatures to reclaim territory, blending PvE and PvP combat with a deeply customizable character system. The game launched in free public early access on the Epic Games Store on November 29, 2025, and is also compatible with the SuiPlay0X1 handheld device. Its blockchain layer is powered by Sui, leveraging Sui tools such as Slush and zkLogin for authentication, Walrus for on-chain match records, dynamic NFTs, and self-contained in-game tokens. The studio's investors include KRAFTON, Spartan and Big Brain Holdings.
How to play XOCIETY
Matches deploy players on a contested area where they eliminate AI foes and rival players while pursuing loot that increases in value as the round continues. The central tactical choice involves timing extraction: gear taken out can be retained, enhanced, combined into superior equipment or sold through the in-game marketplace, though death before extraction forfeits the haul. Combat emphasizes agile movement and accurate gunplay. Server selection is determined through ping-based matchmaking, allowing players to choose their preferred location, and the client is available for free download via the Epic Games Store.
XOCIETY tokenomics & earning
The economic system revolves around the $XO token, with a projected total supply of 5 billion, along with closed-loop in-game currencies and dynamic NFTs that document player advancement and gear on-chain. Because items are tokenized, equipment gathered in raids may be exchanged across player accounts rather than remaining character-locked. Governance operates through the XOCIETY Corporate Share system and X-DAO, which give members the right to decide on topics including gameplay mechanics and equipment.
