11,842 tickets in Moku’s Pupkins Gen 0 raffle lock away 17.9% of the $SCHIFFY supply

Ticket sales for Moku’s Pupkins Gen 0 raffle had reached 11,842 when Ronin co-founder Jeff “Jihoz” Zirlin posted an update. Each ticket costs 15,000 $SCHIFFY, so 177.63 million tokens have gone into the mint.

Zirlin compared that figure with the $SCHIFFY total supply of 989.72 million. By his count, the raffle now holds 17.9% of every $SCHIFFY in existence.

Before the sale began, Zirlin urged Moki owners to watch for it. “If you own Mokis make sure you’re paying attention to the Pupkins Gen0 mint with $schiffy,” he wrote, noting it would take place “Later today via a no-loss raffle.”

How the raffle works

Entries opened on Oct. 27 at 11 a.m. ET (3 p.m. UTC). About 11 hours ahead of the launch, Moku posted the ticket price on X.

“You’ll need 15000 $SCHIFFY per 1 Ticket, and you can buy as many tickets as you want,” Moku said. Wallets have no purchase limit. The studio gave an example: “if you deposit 300k Schiffy, you can purchase 20 tickets!”

No one’s tokens are at risk. “If you win, you get a box with 2 Pupkins – If you lose, you’ll get your Schiffy amount back,” Moku said. Losing tickets will be refunded within one week.

Why Mokis matter

The mint has 2,000 Boxes, with two Pupkins in each. Of those, 1,800 go to the raffle, and Moku is holding back 200 for partnerships and its treasury.

Moku said a weighted draw would decide winners if more than 1,800 entries came in. A player’s odds rise with the number of tickets they buy, the Mokis and $SCHIFFY they hold, and how early they made their deposit. At 11,842 tickets, the weighted system is in effect.

“The earlier you deposit and more assets you hold, the higher chance you’ll have of getting an NFT,” Moku said.

The studio is also reserving up to 50 Gen 0 Boxes to reward the top content made about the raffle.

What’s in a Box

A Pupkin is an NFT that doubles as a wallet holding tokenized stock and Schiffy. The stocks inside depend on the Pup’s breed. When a Pup is traded, its assets go with it, and unwrapping a Pup releases them.

Gen 0 Pups have pure class traits, and the two Pups in any Box share a class. Their owners collect royalties from future breeds their Pups help produce.

Background

Pupkins is the latest Ronin game from Moku, which also develops Grand Arena ARENA $0.0000208 ▲ +17.2% and Nomgar Clash. The Moki Genesis collection of 8,887 characters is the centerpiece of the studio’s games.

Moku rolled out Plots on Oct. 24, three days ahead of the mint, calling it “your own cozy farm within the Pupkins world that connects with other experiences.” Players can farm crops, collect resources and craft items for Pupkins’ Dungeons and Battles modes, among them charms used in player-versus-player matches.

The studio has teased a Pupkins creator kit as well. Moku says it will let people without any development experience build an experience in under an hour, though no release date has been given.

$SCHIFFY is available on Uniswap, OpenSea, Fomo and Pump.fun. Moku said it will post results and refund updates on its official X account, @Moku_HQ.
