Open Alpha Launch

On April 16, Alien Legends will begin its Open Alpha phase, giving players a chance to engage with their browser-based tactical fighter game. This innovative game integrates Alien Legends fighters with NFTs from Alien Worlds Crew and Arms, allowing players to battle in creatively designed dungeons and arenas. The game’s existing reward mechanisms including TLM, Shards, and specific incentives for Alien Worlds landowners are already implemented and ready for players to utilize.

Gameplay and Exploration

During the Open Alpha, participants will have the opportunity to delve into a vast World Map. This map is dotted with intriguing portals, recruitment taverns, dungeons, and arenas. Players are tasked with managing their fighters, enhancing their skills, and accomplishing varied quests on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Additionally, engaging in leaderboard activities will help players to gauge and enhance their performance levels throughout the game.

Additional Incentives

The completion of the alpha phase will see a full progress reset, followed by an external competition utilizing the Alien Worlds smart contract. To ensure the robustness of game mechanics, players are encouraged to report bugs during the alpha phase. Those providing useful feedback will be rewarded handsomely once the testing phase concludes.

Participation Requirements and Mechanics

To participate, players must possess at least five Alien Legends fighters, along with one Alien Worlds crew NFT and one Alien Worlds arms NFT to enter into battles. Players who contribute quality bug reports through Discord stand to share a total of 1 million Shards allocated for bug reporting. Note, trial accounts are eligible for only 10% of the possible rewards.

Over time, fighters in the game will age and decrease in effectiveness, making strategic management crucial. Players with legendary account status can expect additional daily resources aiding them in their quests.

A spokesperson enthusiastically noted, “We’re excited to see how players interact with the Open Alpha and shape the game’s development.”
