Animoca Brands, a famous venture capital firm, has recently announced its strategic partnership with the gamified edutainment platform Hooked Protocol. This alliance aims to foster innovation in Web3 edutainment and expedite the adoption of Web3 technologies.
The collaboration seeks to merge Hooked’s cutting-edge AI-generated content technology with Animoca’s influential IPs. This fusion is expected to usher in fresh, educational content and experiences.
Hooked Protocol, a front-runner in web3 edutainment, already boasts three dynamic live products. These include Wild Cash, an instructive web3 bootcamp product with over 3 million monthly active users; ToDaMoon, a live-streaming learn-to-earn product utilized by a million preparatory learners; and Hooked Academy Sensei, an exploratory learning product powered by AI, with a growing community of over 100,000 learners.
Yat Siu, co-founder and chairman of Animoca Brands, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership. “This collaboration with Hooked Protocol opens an avenue for creating novel value and propelling our ecosystem development. It will employ AI and web3 infrastructure to augment digital content and enrich education experiences for our users,” Siu said.
Echoing this sentiment, Jason Y, the founder and CEO of Hooked, remarked, “This collaboration with Animoca Brands will consolidate our position as a leading web3 gamified social learning platform and an immersive edutainment network.”
In related news, Animoca Brands recently committed to the web3 Global Educators Fund. This $10 million fund was established by Open Campus and is designed to create an inclusive, contemporary, and global educational environment. To achieve this ambitious goal, Animoca Brands has also collaborated with various entities such as TinyTap and Liberty City Ventures.
