Argent, a leader in mobile non-custodial wallet technology, has introduced a groundbreaking Telegram Accelerator Program designed to encourage and support the development of mini-applications via the Telegram platform.

Applications are open until November 1st, and the program targets innovative developers ready to harness Argent’s Telegram Wallet SDK alongside Starknet’s Layer 2 scaling solutions.

Scheduled to start on November 18th and running through January 5th, this seven-week initiative aims to assist up to 20 teams. These selected teams will receive substantial support in the form of tools, resources, and a non-dilutive initial grant of $25,000 to kick-start their development efforts.

Upon successful completion, participants may qualify for further grants up to $1 million to help bring their projects to market.

The program is inclusive of various sectors, from gaming and decentralized finance (DeFi) to social finance (SocialFi), leveraging Telegram’s extensive native features like messaging, bots, and channels.

This opportunity is not just about funding; it includes valuable mentorship from experts at Argent and the Starknet Foundation, aimed at refining go-to-market strategies and ensuring sustainable project launches.

Features of the Argent Telegram Wallet

At the core of this initiative is the Argent Telegram Wallet, integrated directly within the Telegram app. This self-custody wallet enhances user experience through features like account abstraction, biometric unlocking, and session keys.

These allow for seamless interactions with various mini-apps and bots within the Telegram ecosystem. Notably, the wallet supports rapid transactions over Starknet’s network, boasting capabilities of over 500 transactions per second with minimal transaction fees.
