BEARISH beta hits 68,000 rounds and 106 million Red Berries wagered on day one

• In its first 24 hours, the BEARISH beta at beta.bearish.games ran 42 live games, with players logging more than 68,000 rounds and wagering more than 106 million Red Berries, according to the project.
• Wrapscallion drew the most play at 12,024 rounds. Beenanza ranked second with 8,983 rounds, but 44.1 million Red Berries went through it.
• Red Berries can’t be exchanged for prizes because they are play-only. BEARISH lists a Gold Berry leaderboard with prizes as coming soon.

The BEARISH beta at beta.bearish.games went through its first 24 hours with 42 games live. In a post on X, the project said players logged more than 68,000 rounds and wagered more than 106 million Red Berries over that period.

“Thank you to every bear who jumped in, broke things, and told us about it,” BEARISH said.

Wrapscallion tops the round count

No game was played more than Wrapscallion, which logged 12,024 rounds and 9.0 million Red Berries. Beenanza was next with 8,983 rounds.

Beenanza moved much more currency, though. Its 44.1 million Red Berries came to nearly half of the 24-hour total for all 42 games.

A third game appeared on the most-played list in the post, but the text cut off before its figures.

Inside the beta

Players get free Red Berries every day on the beta, plus Gold Berries for Promotional Play. Sign-in works with email, phone or a wallet.

Casino-style games played with Red Berries sit in a “BEARISH Originals” section. Its slots include Gummy Bearish, Honey Heist and Den of the Dead. The section also lists Midnight Marquee and Bearby Derby, as well as craps, roulette, baccarat, blackjack and Pai Gow Poker. Crash, Mines and Tower games fill out the lineup, along with Pinecone Plunge, a take on Plinko.

Partner-made free arcade games live in a separate Featured IP Arcade, where players can also earn Red Berries.

Red Berries carry no prizes

There’s no cash value attached to Red Berries. The BEARISH website states: “Red Berries are for play only and can’t be exchanged for prizes.”

Gold Berries are where prizes come in. “The Gold Berry leaderboard, where prizes live, is coming soon on bearish.games,” the project said.

Red Berries already flow through Drip, the project’s community system that keeps track of balances. According to BEARISH, the next phase is “shared earning across participating apps, Discord and community activities, with monthly competitions for bragging rights.” The leaderboard displays current Drip balances, not monthly winnings.

Holder rewards and BURR

BEARISH has also put forward a reward track for NFT holders, which isn’t live yet. “The planned holder reward track starts with one verified bear, with boosts beginning at 3 bears and capped at 20 bears; rates are unannounced,” the project said.

Details on BURR buybacks, permanent-removal mechanics, revenue allocations and timing have not been announced.

Background

The BEARISH NFT collection launched on Abstract in April 2025 with 5,540 items. Ahead of the beta, the team released BLINKO, a physics-based game in the Plinko style where players drop balls, “make honey” and go after a BONUS round.

A disclaimer about the token appears on the project’s website: “BURR is a utility token for the BEARISH ecosystem. No automatic Red Berry-to-BURR conversion, guaranteed prizes or token returns.”
