A Maze of Gains crossover with Yield Fields, Deed Season kicked off Sept. 17 for an 11-day run that ends Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. UTC. The leaderboards lock at close, with the raffles drawn not long after.
What the money is chasing
At stake are 850 whitelist spots for the Founding Deeds mint. Yield Fields has sized the collection at 3,333 pieces, each carrying randomized rarity and metadata.
“Anyone can farm in Yield Fields, even without deeds. But deed holders have a separate loop that generates resources through gameplay,” Yield Fields said. “The fields now need keepers.”
A further 1,000 guaranteed spots are reserved for Onchain Heroes Ringbearers and Genesis Rings holders, based on a snapshot the team has yet to date.
How the 850 split
Of that pool, 575 sit with the Silo and are handed out by leaderboard rank — 400 via the Golden Corn board, ranked on total Corn stocked, and 175 via the Eve items board, ranked on points.
The remaining 275 belong to the Raffle. Each item equals one entry, each spot is drawn on its own, and no limit caps how many one player can take. Golden Corn covers 175 of those draws, Eve Keys the other 100. The Eve raffle accepts Eve Keys only; all other Eve items feed the Silo instead.
None of it comes back. Everything spent over the course of Deed Season is permanently consumed.
Where the Corn comes from
Smashing Corn Stalks on Arcade or Expedition runs is what drops Golden Corn, and the yield rises with the number of keys burned. Arcade is limited to 100 keys per run. Expedition carries no such limit, making it the path to a strong Silo finish.
A Basic Expedition Pass tacks on 10% Corn, while the VIP version adds 25%. There are also free Expedition Keys to collect weekly by upvoting Maze of Gains on the Abstract Portal.
Buying Eve items beats farming them on speed. Nine went on sale on the Marketplace in VALOR before the Silo competition began, including Gas Shot, Gas Chug, Gas Slam, Gacha tokens, Jackalot Helmets and the Adventurer Mint Pass. The slower route: fish with Genesis Heroes in the Onchain Heroes idle RPG for Eve Keys, clear World’s Eve dungeons for World Seeds, then crack open Eve Caches. Eve Keys are themselves Eve items.
A wallet catch
The Deeds mint happens on Robinhood Chain rather than Abstract, which is where Maze of Gains lives. That means Abstract Global Wallet users must head into Settings, connect a supported non-AGW wallet and sign — skip it and the whitelist spot is lost.
Alongside the event, Onchain Heroes added support for MetaMask, Rabby and Robinhood wallets, and keys and passes are now purchasable with ETH on Robinhood Chain.
Over the week leading up to Deed Season, Maze of Gains players generated 1,911 runs and burned through 26,161 keys. The weekly prize pool totalled $18,313, with Gem payouts at $5,417.
