French game developer Eden Games has recently announced the launch of its first web3 game, Cosmic Royale, as part of Animoca Brands’ Motorverse ecosystem. Known for popular titles like Test Drive Unlimited, Gear.Club, and F1 Mobile Racing, Eden Games has ventured into the world of web3 gaming with Cosmic Royale, a party royale kart racer game designed for PC.
Cosmic Royale revolves around the Cosmic Tournament, a head-to-head multiplayer event where 40 players compete in multiple rounds of racing and obstacle navigation. The game promises an immersive and competitive gameplay experience, with one contestant emerging as the ultimate winner.
In this beta version of Cosmic Royale, exclusive access is granted to Mocaverse’s Moca ID holders, along with Realm Points for high-scoring players. These earned RP can be deposited and multiplied on the Mocaverse platform, eventually being converted into MOCA tokens. While owning a Mocaverse PFP is not mandatory, players who possess one can use it as their in-game driver, adding a personalized touch to their gaming experience.
David Nadal, the creative director of Eden Games, expressed his excitement about the game’s release, stating, “We’re tremendously excited to finally unveil Cosmic Royale and welcome hundreds of thousands of players to participate in the Cosmic Tournament and earn exciting rewards.” He also highlighted the game’s unique feature of allowing players to import their custom drivers and karts from various PFP collections, making each racer’s story memorable and distinct.
The full launch of Cosmic Royale is scheduled for Q4 2024 and will be available on the Epic Games Store. Players can look forward to an exhilarating gaming experience with Cosmic Royale and immerse themselves in the world of web3 gaming.
