gala adds estg cvx ai and cow to galaswap as galachain listing streak continues In Brief:

In Brief:

  • ESTG, CVX, AI and COW are now live on GalaSwap, the decentralized exchange built on GalaChain.
  • The four tickers arrive after a June 29 batch of eight and extend a cross-chain effort supported by a $2 million ecosystem incentive program.
  • As of March, GalaSwap had cleared 476,000 transactions and upwards of $72 million in total volume, with support for more than 60 tokens.

Four additional tokens have gone live on GalaSwap, with Gala confirming in a post on X that ESTG, CVX, AI and COW are now tradable. The pairs are accessible via links.gala.com/swap.

Gala has held to a steady listing rhythm for most of 2026, usually rolling out four to eight tickers per round. The June 29 round delivered FET, AAVE, ARB, ONDO, CRV, ETHFI, JTO and GRASS, while earlier batches introduced MOCA, IOTX, AXL, JUPUSD and USAT.

Listings tied to the bridge push

By March 24, the catalogue on Gala Swap had passed 60 tokens, and the company signalled that the figure would climb further as fresh assets land on the network. Bridges built into the platform run through Gala Connect and connect to Ethereum, Solana and TON.

Underwriting that interoperability effort is a $2 million ecosystem incentive program designed to stimulate activity across GalaSwap and GalaPump. The declared aim is to position GalaChain as a general utility chain carrying cross-chain liquidity, instead of a network confined to gaming.

Volume and fees

In a March 19 post, Gala put the exchange at 476,000 transactions and cumulative volume above $72 million. DefiLlama’s figures show $10.8 million in total value locked and annualized fees of roughly $1.9 million, with TVL off by about 5%.

Depending on the tier, pools levy a protocol fee of 0.05%, 0.3% or 1%, alongside a network fee settled in GALA. Concentrated liquidity underpins the exchange, and users can pair any GalaChain token that has a deployed contract into a pool.

Why the swap count matters for GALA

GALA is consumed as gas by every transaction on GalaChain, and the entirety of those gas fees is permanently taken out of supply. A community vote on April 30 approved a new tokenomics model for GalaChain, introducing protocol fee-sharing plus permanent burns bankrolled by a slice of network fees. The disinflationary design was scheduled to go into effect during the second quarter of 2026.

Because burns are pegged to genuine on-chain activity under that model, swap throughput feeds directly into supply. Emissions are calculated dynamically at 0.25% of the gap between total supply and max supply, a rate established in August 2024.

Developments on the demand side have arrived in parallel. Through Shrapnel (official site), GalaChain struck a partnership with China’s government-backed Trusted Copyright Chain in a deal announced around April 30, creating a compliant route for NFT trading denominated in RMB while making GALA a gas requirement on every cross-chain NFT transfer.

Background

GalaSwap debuted in February 2024 as the first decentralized exchange constructed on GalaChain. Its initial remit covered trading among Ethereum-based tokens within the Gala ecosystem — a far smaller selection than the lineup it lists today.

GDEX LLC runs the interface, which at no point takes custody of user funds. Users sign swaps and liquidity actions from their own wallets, and the GalaChain DEX contract carries them out.

Launched in December 2025 on Gala Connect, the GalaPump launchpad allows creators to spin up tokens on GalaChain within minutes. A portion of the tickers appearing in these listing announcements originates there.

GalaChain has seen over 9,000 token classes created and close to 6 million NFTs minted, spread across more than 28 million blocks.
