GameSwift recently announced a strategic partnership with Fetch.ai, a UK-based AI company, to integrate its advanced technology into GameSwift’s core application, the GameSwift Launcher.
As part of this partnership, users of the GameSwift Launcher will now have the opportunity to contribute their unused GPU cycles to Fetch.ai’s distributed agent infrastructure.
This infrastructure supports various AI applications, including text-to-speech, natural voice generation, document analysis, and music creation. GameSwift estimates that over two-thirds of its users currently have unused GPU capacity.
Tom Kowalczyk, the CTO of GameSwift, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, “We are excited to be the first gaming-focused project to integrate Fetch.ai’s cutting-edge infrastructure, pioneering AI’s transformative potential in the gaming industry.”
In addition to offering GPU cycles, GameSwift will allow its users to host LLMs on their local devices. These LLMs will be accessible to both GameSwift and Fetch.ai communities, enabling them to explore various AI applications such as text transformation, voice generation, and document analysis while ensuring data privacy.
Moreover, as part of the partnership, GameSwift will become a member of the non-profit Fetch.ai Foundation, further solidifying the collaboration between the two companies.
Maria Minaricova, Fetch.ai’s head of business development, also shared her excitement, saying, “We are thrilled to welcome GameSwift as our first gaming partner, integrating our advanced AI agent infrastructure into the GameSwift Launcher. This collaboration will unlock new possibilities for AI development by harnessing the untapped GPU power of GameSwift’s user base.”
