While Epic Games is now more open to blockchain-based games, the company maintains its strict policy against content that includes pornography, gambling, and hate speech, underscoring the company’s commitment to a safe and inclusive gaming environment.
Guidelines for Blockchain Games
Epic Games has established clear guidelines for games that use blockchain technology. These guidelines prohibit the use of Epic’s payment system for transactions related to blockchain, restrict the linking of games to blockchain or NFT marketplaces within the Epic store, and prohibit the availability of these products in countries like China and South Korea.
