South Korean gaming company Com2uS recently unveiled its latest mobile-based RPG game, Heir of Light: Eclipse, on its native gaming blockchain, XPLA. This launch also marks the integration of the new JAM token, which adds utility to the XPLA ecosystem.
JAM serves as the in-game utility token in ‘Heir of Light: Eclipse,’ allowing players to convert it for non-cryptocurrency Fagin Coins that can be earned within the game. Moreover, the game introduces Membership Points, a currency obtained through in-game purchases and NFT benefits, which can be used to craft Exchange Tickets unlocking various in-game exchanges containing valuable items.
Through the XPLA Wallet, players have access to a convert pool where Fagin Coins can be exchanged for JAM tokens. Although the full integration across the XPLA ecosystem is set to happen by late June or early July. Additionally, the game features a buy-back system that enables Com2uS to generate revenue from in-game purchases, which will be used to buy JAM tokens stored in a reserve pool and utilized in the convert pool.
‘Heir of Light: Eclipse’ is a mobile-based multiplayer RPG that challenges players to climb the ranks by defeating progressively challenging enemies through 5v5 battles in various modes like PVE, PVP, and boss battles. Rewards are based on overall rankings, encouraging players to upgrade their teams for better loot.
In other news, XPLA has recently launched its L2 chain, XPLA Verse, on the Japanese gaming blockchain Oasys, bringing titles like ‘The Walking Dead All Stars’ and ‘Summoners War: Chronicles’ to the Oasys ecosystem.
