Immutable has unveiled a substantial $50 million rewards program, The Main Quest, to boost player engagement across its Web3 gaming ecosystem. This new initiative, which starts on April 25th, is set to enhance player rewards by leveraging digital ownership and gameplay interaction within Immutable’s expansive library of over 270 games.
In collaboration with the Digital Worlds Foundation, an organization focused on the growth and security of blockchain gaming, The Main Quest offers players a variety of incentives. Gamers can earn rewards by completing quests, participating in games, and managing collections.
A Closer Look at the Games and Rewards
Immutable’s ecosystem hosts some major gaming projects including Pixelmon, Illuvium, Guild of Guardians, Space Nation, and MetalCore. These games are among the first ten projects featured in the current phase of The Main Quest. Additional games like Blast Royale, Hunters on Chain, Treeverse, Pool Masters, and The Bornless are also part of the inaugural group benefiting from this rewards system.
Immutable’s co-founder and president, Robbie Ferguson, emphasized the significance of this initiative: “This is single-handedly the largest rewards program in web3 gaming. With The Main Quest, we are showing players what they can expect when we talk about the real benefits of digital ownership.” He further added that as more games from Immutable’s portfolio of over 300 signed games go to market, the opportunities for players to be rewarded will grow exponentially.

This announcement follows closely on the heels of Immutable’s partnership with King River Capital and Polygon, which led to the creation of the $100 million Inevitable Games Fund. This fund has already seen investments in several projects such as Pixelmon, MetalCore, and the Guild of Guardians, all of which have joined The Main Quest.
