Life Beyond has announced dates for both the Open Alpha and Early Access. Although they haven’t shared much information about the gameplay, they’ve promised us one thing: a new world to explore and conquer.
The Early Access will open on June 29 while the Open Alpha is set to open on July 6.
We’ve seen a lot of MMO games in the blockchain space being announced – most of them are still in development but this one is now being released to the public. As they have announced the date for their Alpha playtest, the game will be open to playing for everyone on July 6.
Early Access
Only those with Apartment Access Keys (AAKs) will be able to play the game in Early Access on June 29.
AAKs are dropped to Founder Packs and Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT owners.
There are three types of Apartment Keys:
1) Dolos Passport
If you have a Dolos Passport, you can have exclusive entry into the whitelist access, open alpha, and boosted alpha rewards. Though, the Dolos Passport is not yet available in the game. (Alpha rewards are also not available at the moment)
The Dolos Passport will cost five Apartment Keys.
So, if you don’t want to miss out and get in early, make sure to get your Apartment keys ready!
Life Beyond
Life Beyond is a sci-fi-themed multiplayer adventure game built on the Ethereum Blockchain. The game has a third-person perspective where players play as Pioneers on a new planet called Dolos.
In Dolos, the Pioneers wander around in search of opportunities and to carve out a place to live in this danger zone. Why a danger zone, Dolos is full of wild and dangerous creatures, and mysterious ruins – the Pioneers have to overcome their fears and explore what’s out there.
When they released the game trailer, it showed only the aesthetics and combat. We now know that the game will feature digital asset ownership as well. in addition to that, the players can open up new regions and settle there as they progress in the game.
There will also be a crafting system in the game with customizable weapons and equipment.
Although the game will have no character development, there are still ways such as tools, equipment, and the player’s skill and knowledge by which you can potentially increase a character’s abilities.
Story Arcs
The game will also feature Story Arcs – completing each story arc will unlock gameplay or an area to explore in the game.
The land is one of the most valuable assets to own in Life Beyond as they generate tokens, revenue, and other useful resources. As you liberate a land or region from nano-bots, you can put that land for sale. (nano-bots are aliens that control creatures and other objects)
Founder NFTs and Visionary Packs are one of the assets that you can buy right now to get access to all the alphas and betas. Not only that but you can also get whitelist spots, tokens, digital art books, and NFT airdrops if you own one of these two.
Also, you will be rewarded with an Apartment Access Key (AAK) airdrop if you purchase a pack. AAK owners will be given a customizable living space where they can live and decorate as they will.
