MIR4 (official site) has a Spirit Portrait Event running from Monday, Nov. 2nd at 01:00 until Monday, Nov. 9th at 01:00 (regional server time). Over the week, players hunt monsters for eight different Spirit Portraits and turn full sets in for rewards. Each set also earns points for their clan in a daily ranking, and the top clans get buffs that last three weeks.
The portraits drop at random from monsters in four areas: the Field, Elite, Labyrinth and Hidden Valley. A level limit applies, so monsters above or below Level 40 won’t give you Spirit Portraits.
Collecting a set
To get started, tap the firecracker-shaped icon in the top left corner to open the event menu and choose ‘Collect Spirit Portraits’. Once you hold all eight, hit ‘Obtain’ on the event page to claim the collection reward and collection points. This can be done five times a day.
The first set you finish pays out a Legendary Blue Dragon Statue. Every set you finish after that is worth one Shaoshao’s Treasure Bag.
If you’re missing a portrait, a clanmate may have it. Clan members can swap portraits through the Exchange Center on the event page, with a limit of one portrait per exchange. Be careful about leaving your clan: any portraits you’ve listed and haven’t taken back get deleted when you go.
Clan rankings and buffs
The clan ranking is based on accumulated collection points. It resets every day at 01:00 (regional server time) and can be found under [Menu] – [Ranking] – [Clan] – [Collect Portraits]. Final positions are decided by the standings when the collection period ends. Clans that place get special buffs for three weeks:
- 1st: 5% Drop Chance Boost, 5% Lucky Drop Chance Boost, 5% Hunting Copper Gain, 5% Hunting EXP Gain
- 2nd: 4% to each of the same four stats
- 3rd: 3% to each of the same four stats
- 4th to 10th: 3% Drop Chance, 3% Lucky Drop Chance, 3% Hunting Copper Gain
- 11th to 15th: 3% Drop Chance, 3% Lucky Drop Chance
- 16th to 20th: 3% Drop Chance
These buffs are tied to the clan, not the player. Leave a ranked clan while they’re active and you lose them. Move from a clan that didn’t place into one that did, and you pick them up.
Ties on points go to the clan with fewer members. If both clans have the same number of members too, the one with the higher Power score takes the spot.
Deadline
The collection period closes on Monday, Nov. 9th at 01:00 (regional server time), and all Spirit Portrait items are deleted at that point.
