Obitus Games has launched OverForge 2.0, a new in-game leaderboard event for its tactical card battler, OverKnights. Running until the end of the month, the event gives players a daily opportunity to win USDC prizes and a potential whitelist spot for upcoming NFT releases.
Daily Competitive Battles Bring Real Rewards
OverForge 2.0 introduces a refreshed leaderboard system that resets every 24 hours. Players who rank in the top 10 on any given day earn USDC rewards, with the top player also receiving a whitelist spot.
The exact purpose of the whitelist has not been officially confirmed, but it is expected to be linked to future NFT mints, including the Genesis Pilot collection or the first OverKnights NFT series. The daily prize distribution is as follows:
- 1st place: $50 USDC + whitelist spot
- 2nd place: $25 USDC
- 3rd place: $15 USDC
- 4th place: $10 USDC
- 5th–10th places: $5 USDC each
Players can participate every day, giving them multiple chances to earn. In addition, the top five overall performers across the campaign will receive bonus rewards at the end of the month. Details about these final prizes have yet to be announced.
How to Join the Leaderboard
To participate, players must download OverKnights for free from the Epic Games Store. The game is currently in open alpha and supported by Immutable and Sequence. To qualify for rewards, players must connect their Immutable wallet. Without it, earned rewards will be passed to the next eligible player.
Players should also note that any cheating or abuse will result in disqualification from the event.
OverForge 2.0 is only the beginning of a broader push by Obitus Games to keep its player base engaged ahead of the next major campaign. Following this event, new quests and the second Immutable Leaderboard Campaign are expected to roll out with fresh rewards and challenges.
The previous leaderboard campaign rewarded the top 250 players with Genesis Pilot NFTs of different rarities. While specifics for the next campaign remain under wraps, now is the perfect time for players to sharpen their skills and climb the ranks before the next big drop.
