Fenrath’s Introduction

RavenQuest Games has introduced a new boss named Fenrath, the Master of the Hunt. This addition to the game includes a unique mechanic, the Aspect system, which adds variability and complexity to boss encounters. This system specifically impacts the Hunter’s Mark ability, adding a new layer of strategic depth to battles.

The Mechanics at Play

The Apex Hunter is a pivotal mechanic utilized by Fenrath, involving Hunter’s Marks that stack and change as Fenrath transitions through four distinct Aspects during combat. This shifting mechanic not only challenges players to adapt but also increases the unpredictability of the battle, particularly during the Spirit Hunter phase. Here, Fenrath splits into four spirits, setting a dynamic course for his ensuing attack patterns.

New Rewards and Cosmetics

With the introduction of Fenrath, players are offered a suite of new rewards and cosmetics priced in Renown. Central to these is the Master of the Hunt Trophy, which can be purchased for 500 Renown, granting a 4 percent permanent Dexterity bonus when displayed in a player’s home. An enchanted version of this trophy is available for 1,000 Renown. Additional items include the Wild Hunt Moa Armor and Wild Hunt Wagon, each for 2,000 Renown, a Tree of Life Sapling for 1,000 Renown, and the Wild Hunt Banner priced at 750 Renown. A notable item, Fenrath’s Primal Mantle, boosts Bounty Marks from Rangers Company Tasks by 20 percent.

Looking forward, RavenQuest has announced an upcoming character, The Mad Scientist, who will be featured in the game’s third Tyrant Teaser next week.
