In Brief:
- Now in its third season, the Ronin blockchain’s Proof of Distribution program hands out rewards to games according to the activity on their smart contracts.
- The first two seasons alone pushed out upwards of 780,000 RON tokens, a haul valued at more than $40,000.
- Topping the earnings table is Axie Infinity (official site), which has collected over $15,000 in RON, trailed closely by Craft World from Yoya Games and Ragnarok Landverse America.
Proof of Distribution sees success
As it opens its third season, Ronin’s Proof of Distribution mechanism is still delivering results. The system, which went live on May 14, 2026, works out what games and apps are owed by measuring what happens on their smart contracts — transaction volume and the gas fees that come with it.
Those activities generate points, and the point totals decide how RON tokens are split up once a season wraps. Across the opening two seasons, the ecosystem has already handed out over 780,000 RON, a figure worth north of $40,000.
Game performance metrics
Axie Infinity is still the clear leader, having locked in more than $15,000 in RON rewards. Next up is Craft World from Yoya Games at $10,500, with Ragnarok Landverse America and Pixels (official site) taking home roughly $6,600 and $4,800 apiece.
Beyond the payouts, the Proof of Distribution leaderboard doubles as a discovery tool for players hunting for something new to play. Sky Mavis has hinted the feature could grow further, with richer project pages and community elements making it easier to find games.
