Sorare 27 adds LaLiga EA SPORTS with boosted streaks and Arena rewards to start the season

LaLiga EA SPORTS is now switched on for Sorare 27, and Sorare has tied two reward boosts to the first weeks of the Spanish campaign.

The Pro Mode streak boost runs from matchday one through matchday four, and Arena is boosted during Game Weeks 3 and 4. “Some of the world’s biggest stars, one of football’s most competitive leagues: Now live on Sorare 27!” the company said in its announcement.

How large either boost will be was left unstated.

A template already exists in the platform’s earlier boosted Early Access drop. Sorare ran a three-hour window on Wednesday, July 29, beginning at 4 p.m. CET, that covered the Scottish, Austrian and Croatian leagues. Any card pulled during that window came with a Pro Mode scoring bonus for the opening four matchdays of its league: 10% for Reserve, Roster and Key players, and 5% for Star and Icon.

On the Scottish rollout, prize money climbed to $45,000 in the Rest of the World Arena for Super Rare and Unique cards during the boosted Game Week. A manager icing a full In-Season Rare lineup over the first four matchdays could take home as much as $3,000. Neither pool applied to the full season — both were pinned to particular matchdays.

What changed in Sorare 27

Sorare 27 launched in July and continues until the European season wraps in May 2027. The game is now split into three modes: Arcade serves as the casual on-ramp, Pro handles Hot Streaks, and Arena covers player-versus-player leaderboards, Classic SO7 and Rooms.

Game Week locking is gone from Hot Streaks. Entries are open right up to a player’s kickoff, with four lineups permitted at each level. The catch is that once a level is started it must be finished before that league’s matchday closes, which rules out banking lives across weekends.

Divisions have disappeared from Arena. In place of the tiered setup there is a single leaderboard and one concentrated prize pool, and optional goalkeeper and outfield substitutes are now slotted in automatically if a player doesn’t feature. Each Arena competition doubles In-Season rewards over its first two Game Weeks.

In Pro Mode, Rare cards can pick up a bonus of as much as 2x. For Unique Classic cards, Essence gives way to cash, Market Credits and Super Rare Essence.

According to Sorare, a partnership it had counted on fell through, and the budget was redirected into the season itself. The money went toward deeper Rare Arena rewards, pushing cash and Essence out to a wider set of managers, along with a reward bonus for Classic Rare cards in Pro.

Liga Portugal joined this season via a direct agreement with the league, and Porto, Benfica and Sporting are among the confirmed clubs. All 18 Ligue 1 teams are now covered.

The Spanish season

The 2026-27 LaLiga fixture list was published on June 30. It maps out 380 Primera División matches from Aug. 15 to May 30, put together by the federation, LaLiga and Liga F while juggling more than 400 scheduling constraints.

Oct. 25 at Camp Nou brings the first Clásico, with the return leg on May 9 at the Bernabéu. Atlético Madrid welcome Real Madrid on Sept. 20; the reverse fixture lands April 4.

Promoted from the second tier are Racing, Deportivo and Málaga, who begin against Villarreal, Elche and Atlético respectively. Villarreal, Málaga and Real Sociedad requested away openers, pointing to stadium works, local events or security.

EA’s branding has been on the league since 2023/24, when EA SPORTS FC picked up title naming rights across LaLiga’s first and second divisions and brought a rebrand of the logos, graphics and fonts with it.

Four opening fixtures skip the opening weekend entirely. Barcelona versus Athletic, Real Madrid versus Real Sociedad, Atlético versus Málaga and Valencia versus Betis all shift to midweek on Aug. 25, 26 or 27, because those clubs had players involved in the World Cup semifinals or final.
