Speedrun: A Startup School for Gaming Led By Andreessen Horowitz (a16z)

Andreessen Horowitz’s (a16z) gaming division has launched a program called “Speedrun” to help people enhance their entrepreneurial skills on Web3. Speedrun shall serve as a gaming startup school.

Spanning six weeks, the program boasts an impressive lineup of gaming specialists who will impart valuable knowledge on a wide range of topics surrounding business, AI, and AR/VR. Furthermore, participants will acquire the know-how to construct and launch a game, assemble a team, secure funding, and oversee a game in real-time.

For a chance to participate in this extraordinary opportunity, potential participants must submit their applications by the April 21 deadline, accompanied by a compelling game concept. Following a detailed selection process, successful candidates will participate in interviews between April 24 and 28, with the program commencing in May. Finally, these fortunate individuals will travel to San Francisco and Los Angeles for an unforgettable in-person experience.

An array of esteemed gaming professionals awaits, featuring the likes of Discord’s former CMO, Blizzard Entertainment’s ex-Vice President, Twitch’s founder, and Tencent’s erstwhile President. So don’t hesitate and seize the opportunity! Apply before April 21, and come prepared with a crystal-clear vision of the game you yearn to create.
