Big names are included as advisors in the Mythos Foundation, such as Yat Siu (Animoca Brands CEO), Ryan Watt (Polygon Studios president), and Pete Hawley (100 Thieves’ chief product officer).
In order for Mythical Games to achieve such plans, it will focus on five key aspects. Those are:
- Cross-chain infrastructure
- Evolution of NFTs and game economies
- Support for gaming guilds
- Growing traditional esports participation in Web3
- Creating new policies for gamers
“We want to understand how we can use this technology to really improve our businesses…we started thinking heavily about [the foundation] and we thought it was very powerful, to really have this massive gaming alliance,”John Linden, CEO of Mythical Games
Mythical Games’ plan to expand blockchain gaming decentralization will be done through a DAO. The first proposal says that the DAO will be divided into three subcommittees, focusing mainly on game developers, esports, guilds, Web3, and the Metaverse. Big names will participate in the DAO’s governance with FaZe Clan, Ubisoft, and Animoca Brands. Members of the subcommittees will be elected through the Mythos DAO by holders of the newly created governance token $MYTH.
