The world-famous karaoke tournament, The Voice, has recently announced the establishment of a dazzling new permanent base in Decentraland’s Vegas City district. This move allows ardent fans of the successful TV show to engage in various music-themed games, interact with its stars, and even get their hands on some cool ‘The Voice’ wearables.
This flashy new virtual venue is essentially a comprehensive fan zone within the Metaverse. Here, followers of the show, regardless of their geographical location, can gather, exchange music-focused dreams, anecdotes, and even shop for wearables at the in-house store. It’s an opportunity to explore virtual sets and learn how to land that much-desired ‘The Voice’ audition.
This isn’t The Voice’s first rodeo in Decentraland, though. The show previously hosted a pop-up venue during the acclaimed Metaverse Music Festival. But now, they’re taking things up a notch by making Decentraland their permanent residence, carving their niche in the Metaverse frontier.
As part of this immersive Metaverse experience, The Voice and Decentraland are set to roll out an array of engaging games and challenges. These include a musical scavenger hunt, a dance competition, a music maker, rhythm challenges, and music trivia. Gamers can either face off in a ‘Battle Mode’ or participate in a group competition, effectively mirroring the format of the popular UK show, which has now reached audiences in a staggering 148 countries around the world.
