Champions Tactics introduces a dynamic auto-battler experience in which players assemble teams of three Champions to compete in battles. Each Champion is represented in-game as a detailed figurine featuring unique characteristics. The game includes player versus environment (PvE) and player versus player (PvP) modes, although the PvE component is set to be released later.
Players can earn Gold by competing in matches, which can be used to craft and upgrade their Champions, enhance their teams, and improve their chances of success. The game also features a quest system and an experience framework, adding depth to the gameplay, though specific details about these features remain limited.
Champions Tactics is integrated with the Oasys blockchain and utilizes two types of NFTs: Warlords and Champions. Warlords serve as unique profile pictures (PFPs) and gateways to future game content, providing holders with early access to alphas, betas, and new mints. Holding a Warlord NFT also boosts in-game earnings, making them a valuable asset for dedicated players.
Champions, the second type of NFT, are essential for battling. There are 9,995 Warlord NFTs available, currently trading at a floor price of approximately 0.35 ETH (just under $100 USD) on secondary markets like OpenSea.
Players looking to earn within the game must own their Champions, as the game also provides non-earning Ethereal Champions for those who wish to play without investing.
Exciting Giveaway to Celebrate the Launch
Additionally, Ubisoft has introduced two giveaways to celebrate Champions Tactics’ launch. Those giveaways reward players with Warlord and Champion NFTs.
