Xterio has recently launched a new browser-based PVP wagering mini-game called Overworld Arena. The game is free to play and does not require NFTs.
Users can acquire better characters by owning any of the game’s partner collections, including popular names like BAYC, Azuki, DeGods, Doodles, and more. However, the best stats come from having one of Overworld’s Incarna PFPs.
A Few Words About the Gameplay of Overworld Arena
In Overworld Arena, players can create characters with three randomized stat levels: dexterity, strength, and magic. Players can reroll these stats by exchanging ETH for the in-game Gem currency on the Xterio Chain. This currency can also be used to purchase loot boxes and obtain more energy within the game.
The game involves betting Arena Coins using a tiered price system in a rock-paper-scissors-style synchronous PvP mode, where the winner takes all. Players can buy loot boxes or wait for the daily refresh if they run out of coins. The game starts with a prize pool of $100,000, which will increase as more players purchase gems. Additional rewards include 1 million MNCT tokens, Xterio points, and 50 whitelist spots for Xterio’s upcoming NFT mint, Project Shadows.
