In a new update, Gods Unchained has altered the terms and services that ban users from the game if they’re caught creating multiple accounts to cheat the system.
The game works on a play-to-earn model where users can generate income by playing. The update also improves the detection of bots so that gamers’ overall ecosystem is improved.
According to the team, you will be banned for one week if your account is caught cheating and using multi-accounting. Additionally, a card-cooldown rule has been put in place so that each card can only receive points for one account each day.
New Feature: Daily Play-and-Earn
Gods Unchained launched the Daily Play-and-Earn feature on August 31, 2022. A new update has been released to prevent players from cheating and disturbing the P2E ecosystem for genuine players. With this feature, players can earn $GODS on a daily basis.
With this feature, there is also a dedicated dashboard for players where they can claim their tokens. The daily reward starts from 14000 $GODS to a maximum of 30,000 $GODS.
As of yet, the game has already banned more than 200 accounts that were caught cheating by multi-accounting to try to win more rewards. The players are banned for seven days and won’t be receiving any rewards they claimed to try to claim via unfair means.
Additionally, the team has put a lot of effort into integrating a bot detection system that prevents all the bots from claiming rewards from the game. Only those accounts with real players can claim rewards from the game.
Card Cooldown Rule
In addition to the bot detection system and multi-accounting ban, Gods Unchained introduced the Card Cooldown Rule, which allows each card to earn only once a day (unless traded). Every day, the cooldown will reset at 00:00 UTC.
