The Survivor Swarm went live on Aug. 6, with Chainers running a Progression event and a Mission event in parallel across four days while folding bees into the game’s animal lineup. Aug. 9 marks the finish.
Dates came by way of an X post from the studio, which pointed players toward a Medium write-up for the complete ruleset. The newcomers were billed in the announcement as “our buzzzzted animals!”

How the double format works
Pairing Progression with Mission events is nothing new for Chainers. On the Progression side, rewards scale upward as players work through themed tasks — the track usually opens with seeds and plots and finishes on a craftable legendary animal. Missions cycle on daily and weekly timers, and anything earned has to be claimed before those timers expire.
One previous Progression-plus-Mission combination, “Herbs Fiction: The Final Clue,” paid out two Epic Akitas, one Epic Metal Plot, 50 Random Fertilizer, one Epic Basil Seed and one Epic Physalis Seed. Preceding that, the deer-themed “Call of the Wild” brought six limited bundles available only for the duration of the event, along with corn, radish, blueberry and purple carrot seeds. An EPIC Blitzen Charger served as its top prize, and finishing the track unlocked a craftable LEGENDARY DEER.
Marty McSwine, a Rare pig valued at 240,000 biopoints, was the focus of the Swine Adventure event.
Bees weren’t new to the economy
The insects were already part of Chainers ahead of this week. Following the farm rework, honey became a crafted item made from bees and milk, and it feeds the randomized daily orders that NPCs put up. Because animals drive the biopoints system that sets Reward Pool standing, adding an animal type carries more than cosmetic weight.
The rework behind it
July 17 saw 51 Games rebuild the Reward Pools, tacking on a fourth tier and raising payouts throughout. Daily CFB at Tier 1 climbed from 750 to 3,000. Depending on the pool, the increases landed between 75% and 90% — around 75% for BNB, 79% for POL and 90% for CFB.
According to the studio, the goal was to move high-volume players up into Tier 4 and free up space across Tiers 1 through 3. Before that, the Autumn 2025 update had lifted Tier 2 from 180 to 360 POL per day and Tier 3 from 360 to 702 POL per day.
A separate patch shifted payouts from two per day to four, and came with allocation increases of 15% for FRI, 15% for CFB and 40% for POL.
Where the token sits
FRI no longer exists in the game. Its distribution was halted by the Autumn 2025 update, which also removed it from onboarding boosters and, beginning in August, took it out of missions and daily tasks — holders received per-account compensation for what they had. That leaves CFB as the soft currency covering crafting, farming, upgrades and store purchases.
As for CHU, the ecosystem token on the roadmap, it remains inactive in gameplay after its launch was put on hold and reworked. 51 Games is aiming at Q3 2026 for the TGE and listings, unlocking 20% of supply at generation while the other 80% vests monthly across 12 months. No CFB-to-CHU conversion rate has been made public.
Background
Developed by 51 Games, Chainers is a free browser MMO centered on farm management, crafting, character customization and mini-games. A Polygon sidechain hosted it until the Immutable X integration in September 2025, which brought one-click onboarding and automatic wallet assignment for anyone signing in through Google, Facebook or X.
Per the site, the game counts over 1 million registered players and roughly 250,000 community members across its social channels.
