Only 300 collectors will ever get their hands on one. That’s the full production run of the DX Bonus Version, and at $2,799 it stands as the priciest way anybody has ever purchased the five Rangers of your childhood.
Prime 1 Studio has reassembled the original Mighty Morphin roster as a Premium Masterline statue set, now open for pre-order and expected in winter 2027.
Red, Black, Blue, Yellow and Pink all arrive at 1/4 scale. Every figure gets its own Power Morpher-themed base and strikes the Roll Call stance lifted straight from the series. According to Prime 1, the sculpts were modeled on the body types of the original suit performers, while each glossy helmet reflects the design language of its corresponding Zord.
Buying direct from Prime 1, the Regular Version costs $2,299. Step up to the Deluxe versions and you gain interchangeable arms plus the Rangers’ signature Power Weapons, though pricing for that separate Deluxe edition shifts from retailer to retailer. The limited one is the $2,799 DX Bonus Version, capped at 300 units, which sweetens the deal with an exclusive interchangeable left hand for Red gripping the Blade Blaster.
Every Ranger gets options
The Power Sword can be placed in Red’s hands one-handed or two. Black’s Power Axe either sits mid-slash or switches over to Cannon Mode. Blue’s Power Lance displays separated or combined. Yellow ships with alternate poses for the Power Daggers, while Pink handles the Power Bow with an arrow either nocked or pulled back fully.
Set side by side, the DX lineup measures about 62 centimeters tall (24.4 inches) and 111 centimeters across (43.7 inches), with polystone making up most of the build. You’ll need a shelf reserved for it. Maybe a whole room, depending on how you live.
Why it’s this era and not any other
The franchise has rebooted itself repeatedly in the years since, yet not one of those iterations came anywhere near Mighty Morphin’s reach. Between the series and the movie that followed, it was woven into the everyday schedule of practically any kid with access to a television.
The merch machine, meanwhile, was playing a completely different game. Every Ranger came with a personal set of figures and a Zord, and those Zords snapped together with the ones your friends owned to form the Megazord — a design choice that quietly converted a toy line into a social obligation.
During the 1993 Christmas season, Power Rangers figures ranked among the most in-demand and hardest-to-locate toys around. Bandai’s tie-in line pulled off the same feat when the MMPR film arrived in 1995.
As things stand, Prime 1 anticipates orders will begin shipping somewhere between December 2027 and March 2028. So the original five make their return as a premium collectible over three decades on from their debut, carrying a price aimed at the kids who begged for the Megazord in 1993 and are now paying a mortgage instead.
