Soneium now hosts Mutant Cartel’s Hound. The game was built by Superstake, and what players earn in it counts toward the network’s Summer Fiesta points campaign.

How the points add up
The 100-point total is split across two missions. Finishing 10 Hound games is worth 70 STAR Points, and hitting a 1.5x multiplier a single time is worth another 30.
Every previous Fiesta mission used that same split. The Hound campaign was set to run until Sept. 21.
Hound also appears on the Summer Fiesta lineup Startale presented during its 23rd community call. That lineup stretches into September and puts Hound Racing alongside LasMeta (official site) and Squadletics. Between the three games, players can gather hundreds of STAR Points, and the campaign adds further prizes, among them a PS5.
Throughout the month, Superstake broadcasts and NFT giveaways are taking place across the Startale ecosystem.
Same rail, new faces each week
Like Lazy Penalty, the Cool Cats claw machine and Space Runner before it, Hound sits on the same Superstake setup. The characters featured on Soneium rotate weekly.
Responsibilities are divided. Superstake handles staking, payouts, cross-chain deposit routing and fairness proofs, while Startale takes care of distribution and the points ledger. That means a rights holder only has to supply art and a mission list, which is why a new IP can launch within days.
At its core, the game is a cash-out loop: players can cash out whenever they like to secure their winnings, or press on in search of a larger multiplier.
Verifying fairness
According to Superstake, rounds on Soneium rely on a commit-reveal scheme. Before each round it publishes a hashed server seed, then reveals the seed once the round is over.
Anyone holding the seed and the hash can verify the result of any round independently.
The warm-up to the Fiesta
Ahead of the Summer Fiesta, Startale held a Mini Apps Carnival that brought together 17 Soneium mini-apps. Users who completed tasks collected STAR Points as well as rewards specific to each project.
Where Mutant Cartel comes from
The Mutant Cartel Universe and the Mutant Hounds collections were created by Novel Labs. The project is an independent community and story universe designed to expand Yuga Labs’ MAYC ecosystem.
The Mutant Hounds were the first characters introduced there. Fusion came later: holders burn Mutant Hounds NFTs to receive Fusing Materials, then combine those materials with a MAYC NFT, a BAYC NFT or a Mutant Cartel Oath to create a Fused Hound.
