Onchain Heroes Reports $3 Million Spent During Deed Season Crossover Event

In a post on X, the Onchain Heroes team announced that spending on Deed Season has hit $3,000,000.

The account had already posted two milestones before this one. On Sept. 21, the team wrote that “$1,000,000 spent on Deed Season …so far.” A later update said “$2,000,000 spent on Deed season.”

The team has not explained how it calculated the $3 million figure.

How Deed Season works

The event takes place inside Maze of Gains, the Onchain Heroes game that players enter using keys. Deed Season opened on Sept. 17 and ends on Sept. 28 at 4:00 p.m. UTC, which gives players 11 days.

During that time, players farm resources in Maze of Gains, compete on leaderboards and take part in raffles. The 850 whitelist spots are split between two systems: the Silo and the Raffle.

Leaderboards will lock when the event closes, and the raffles will be drawn shortly after.

The team is also promoting “$1,000,000 in the weekly prize pool,” which it said resets every Thursday at 4:00 p.m. UTC.

What a Deed is

A Deed is an NFT for Yield Fields, a new game from the Onchain Heroes team, and it will mint on Robinhood Chain. The total supply is 3,333.

Deed holders get their own gameplay loop that produces resources while they play. Players don’t need a Deed to play Yield Fields, though.

Wallet support changes

Maze of Gains changed as part of the move to Robinhood Chain. Players are no longer limited to Abstract Global Wallet and can now use MetaMask, Rabby and Robinhood. They can also buy keys with ETH on Robinhood Chain.

AGW users must take one extra step. Because Deeds mint on Robinhood Chain, they have to link a wallet that works on that chain. If they don’t, they will lose their whitelist spot.

The team announced the start of the event on X: “🚨 Grab your keys. Deed Season is LIVE! 🌽 Maze of Gains x Yield Fields event starts NOW, with 850 whitelist spots for the Deed mint up for grabs! Play MoG to lock in your WL!”
