The team shared the news in a post on X that tagged @RobinhoodCrypto. The post also carried the official trailer for Plooshie Island, the project’s multiplayer world, which was uploaded to YouTube.

Inside the trailer
The team says everything in the video comes straight from the game itself. “The official Plooshie Island trailer. Real in-game footage, full 4K,” the post read.
The team added that the island had been “Rebuilt by hand, texture by texture.”
No launch date appeared in the post, and neither did a migration timeline or any information on tokens or assets moving to the new network. The team did suggest there is more to come: “This is only the surface…”
Moving on from Abstract
According to earlier project material, The Plooshies were built on the Abstract chain, and Plooshy Island, still in development, was set to launch there. The original NFT collection trades on Ethereum.
The Robinhood Chain announcement is silent on what becomes of the Abstract plan and the Ethereum collection. Nor does it clarify whether the move applies to the entire ecosystem or just the island.
The new post spells the game “Plooshie Island,” whereas earlier documentation uses “Plooshy Island.”
What players can expect
Project material describes Plooshy Island as a multiplayer world in which players can own virtual homes, take on quests and interact with one another. Players mine Plooshy Crystals, which are used for upgrades and feed into the in-game economy.
The design also includes Plooshy Points (PP) and a token called $CUDDLE Coin.
The island sits within a broader lineup of casual games, which includes quick browser mini-games and Plooshy Pile Up, a mobile title.
The NFT collection consists of 3,333 fully rigged and animated 3D models spanning 11 unique characters. Owning an NFT is not required to play.
About Robinhood Chain
Robinhood Chain is an Ethereum Layer 2 running on the Arbitrum stack. Robinhood built it primarily for tokenized real-world assets and onchain financial services that operate around the clock.
The public testnet went live Feb. 10, 2026, and mainnet arrived July 1, bringing 100ms block times along with native support for tokenized stocks and stablecoins.
Robinhood Crypto GM Johann Kerbrat said that three weeks after mainnet, the chain had $450 million in total value locked and had handled more than 95 million transactions.
Gaming has not been a priority for Robinhood on the network, and the titles live there so far are small independent projects. Because the chain is permissionless, Robinhood Markets does not automatically operate, review or endorse the applications deployed on it.
The team signed off with a phrase familiar to its community: “We keep Plooshing.”
