Hellsquad Rrrush!: Stone Rush goes global
Wemade has released Hellsquad Rrrush!: Stone Rush on the Google Play store, a notable addition to the company’s growing game catalog. The new release ships with a token economy that ties directly into the WEMIX ecosystem.
Stone Rush comes from developer LightCON and is the blockchain version of Hellsquad Rrrush!, a game that has passed one million downloads. Players step into the shoes of commanders who must guard the gates of hell, building squads and setting up tactical defenses to hold off incoming enemy waves.
How the gameplay works
This edition adds Hexstone Mine Wars, a territory-control mode where players fight to seize mining shafts. Holding those shafts lets them extract HELLSHARD, an in-game currency that serves as the connecting link across the game’s economy.
Players can spend HELLSHARD on key progression items, or convert it into HELLSTONE. From there, HELLSTONE opens up additional possibilities in the WEMIX ecosystem, such as exchanges for WEMIX coins and the option to reinvest back into building up their squads.
To support the economy’s stability over the long run, these transactions are capped by daily limits.
Webshops and payment choices
Players can shop across three dedicated webshops, each tied to a different payment method: PLAY, AMBER, and WEMIX tokens. In the PLAY shop, exclusive character skins that improve gameplay stats can be bought with the platform’s utility token.
The AMBER and WEMIX shops carry the same in-game item packages. Buyers can pay with AMBER, which was earned through pre-registration, or with WEMIX, including tokens picked up through gameplay.
To suit different play styles, the packages can be bought once or as subscriptions renewing daily, weekly, or monthly.
Pre-registration wraps up
With the launch, the game’s global pre-registration campaign, which kicked off on August 27, comes to a close. Wemade plans to hand out rewards from the pre-registration and referral programs over the next two weeks, subject to any changes in timing.
The rewards consist of AMBER, PLAY tokens, and exclusive character skins. Token airdrops will go to active WEMIX PLAY wallets, while the skins will be delivered as coupon codes.
