Cambria ends RSGP sign-ups while onchain clues hint at a Robinhood Chain launch

cambria ends rsgp sign ups while onchain clues hint at a robinhood chain launch In Brief:

In Brief:

  • Cambria (official site) closed registration for its RSGP token generation event on Sept. 29 at 11 p.m. ET. The first look at Cambria Genesis is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 3.
  • Onchain observer @VELITA says the team has spent days deploying contracts on Robinhood Chain and that its main Safe already sits on that network.
  • Cambria hasn’t said which chain RSGP or Genesis will launch on, and the TGE still has no formal date.

Sign-ups for Cambria’s RSGP token generation event ended Sept. 29 at 11 p.m. ET. Next comes Saturday, Oct. 3, when the team is scheduled to give a first look at Cambria Genesis, the persistent world it plans to build.

The team hasn’t said which chain it will launch on. Onchain activity, though, suggests Robinhood Chain is in the running.

Contracts on RH

In a post on X, @VELITA wrote: “For days now the team has been deploying contracts on RH, and their main Safe is already on that chain.” The post then asked: “Cambria Genesis on RH?”

Cambria hasn’t confirmed that Genesis or RSGP will go live on Robinhood Chain. However, late-September reports said the game is targeting Robinhood Chain as part of a multi-chain expansion.

Robinhood Chain opened to the public on July 1, 2026. It’s an Ethereum layer-2 built on Arbitrum, and gas is paid in ETH. Gigaverse Online has also picked the network for its launch. Its founder, 0xDith, pointed to the chain’s “high liquidity” and the “good reputation of the company behind the infrastructure” as the reasons.

Robinhood’s HOOD Summit ran in Houston on Sept. 29 and 30. The published program didn’t include a dedicated gaming initiative.

The opt-in

To register, eligible past Cambria players had to accept a Genesis Event Opt-In Agreement on the game’s lobby site. The newly formed Cambria Foundation opened that window when it announced RSGP.

The foundation says its role is to “steward and grow the Cambria protocol, community, and ecosystem.” RSGP is short for “Real Stakes Game Play.” According to the foundation, the token will “form the core of ecosystem consensus mechanisms” that underpin the Genesis economy.

The announcement didn’t disclose the token’s supply, distribution, blockchain or valuation, or give a TGE date. Total supply, allocations and vesting still haven’t been officially published.

A timeline that kept slipping

The TGE has been delayed several times. When Cambria ran its presale in March 2026, it estimated both the TGE and the mainnet game launch for June 2026. That target later moved to August, to coincide with the Genesis mainnet and Gold Rush Season 4. After that it shifted again, to an unconfirmed early-September window.

The presale aimed to raise $1 million, with a $3 million cap at a $30 million FDV. The tokens had no vesting and were 100% unlocked. Residents of the U.S. and U.K. couldn’t take part.

Volume versus revenue

The game’s stats page shows that total wagered volume during the ongoing Genesis event has passed $41 million. That number counts the same money again each time it’s re-wagered. Over the same period, the developer has taken in $788,642.

Dungeon Fishing, a faster mode that leans more heavily on gambling, accounts for $35.9 million of that total, or 87%.

An earlier phase, the Genesis Loot Drop, scored wallets on five chains according to their past onchain activity. Its claim window closed Aug. 5.

What Genesis looks like

The foundation calls Genesis a “permanent persistent game world.” It’s set to include persistent assets, guild treasuries, competition for resources and “high stakes war games.” Holders of the protocol and RSGP will set its economic incentives.

Players will be able to buy individual buildings in five major cities and charge a tax when others use them. “Island barons” will be able to combine resources to lower transport fees and push back against city monopolies.

Founder Ben.zzz has confirmed that access will be limited at first. Only a small number of initial citizens will get in. The game’s core asset loops will also stay restricted until later waves open them to the wider player base.

Cambria is a 2D browser MMO inspired by Runescape and Ultima Online. In combat, players put their own onchain assets at risk.

Cambria still hasn’t given a launch date for Genesis.
