House Hightower is about to take center stage once more, and this time no HBO login is required. On October 7, House of the Dragon pops up unexpectedly in Game of Thrones: Legends through a fresh Summon named Lord of the Hightower.
Players can pull from the banner starting October 7 at 4 a.m. ET until it closes on November 4 at 2 a.m. ET. That’s close to a whole month to recruit recognizable Dance of the Dragons figures for their rosters.
Ormund Hightower leads the lineup
Ormund Hightower tops the bill. James Norton played him in House of the Dragon Season 3, which finally brought the character to live action. Joining him are fellow Hightowers Otto Hightower and Ser Gwayne Hightower, plus Aegon II Targaryen, Rhaenyra Targaryen and Sunfyre, the dragon Aegon rides.

Each of the six Champions is drawn from characters viewers have now seen in HBO’s prequel series. As a result, Lord of the Hightower plays almost like an interactive House of the Dragon reunion.
The banner isn’t the end of Ormund’s big month, either. From October 12 through October 17, he’s also the spotlight Champion in the Grand Melee, putting House Hightower front and center in October's event calendar.

Quick primer: what is a Summon?
For non-players, here’s the gist. In Game of Thrones: Legends, Summons are a core method for obtaining Champions and making them stronger. Pulling from various banners earns Champion Shards, and those shards eventually unlock new characters or boost the ones already in your collection.
The limited-time Summons deserve the most attention, because they offer the best chance of landing particular characters from the game’s massive Game of Thrones roster.
A packed October for Targaryen fans
Lord of the Hightower is just one entry in a busy month. Things kick off with Robb’s War, which teams Robb Stark with Daemon Targaryen, Daenerys Targaryen and Olenna Tyrell.

On October 8, the Winterfell Summon arrives featuring the Battle of the Bastards version of Jon Snow alongside Tywin Lannister, Oberyn Martell and Meleys. A second dedicated House of the Dragon Summon follows on October 15, returning Rhaenyra, Viserys I, Caraxes and Olenna.
The Brightflame, the month’s other big new Summon, begins October 21 with Aerion Targaryen, Osha, Walder Frey, Rhaenyra, Alicent Hightower and Egg. The Blackwater and Assault on Rook’s Rest Summons complete the rotation.
Between all those returning Champions and the month-long Lord of the Hightower banner, October shapes up as a meaty month for anyone looking to assemble a squad built around the Targaryen civil war and the cast of House of the Dragon.
An odd moment for the series
The timing is fitting. Across three seasons, House of the Dragon has split its audience, and Season 3 closed with several major on-screen deaths that Fire & Blood readers had wondered about for years.
Season 3 delivered genuine high points, including Sunfyre’s emotional comeback and reunion with Aegon II. It also left longtime fans puzzled by decisions such as Ormund Hightower’s brutal final scene.
Season 4 will almost certainly spark just as much argument among devoted A Song of Ice and Fire fans, as HBO’s showrunners put their own signature twist on famous moments from the books. Still, Game of Thrones fans of every stripe will be watching to see how Martin’s Dance of the Dragons concludes on screen.
Until then, the freshest piece of House of the Dragon within reach is Ormund Hightower, sitting atop a Summon banner and waiting to be pulled.
