GFAL grows its game catalog
Three new additions are on the way from Games for a Living (GFAL): the collectible card game World War II: TCG, a football management sim named Legends, and Diamond Jewels Solitaire. First releases and testing rounds for the trio are planned for Q4.
World War II: TCG brings back an earlier project built by FrozenShard, the studio started by GFAL executives Marc Tormo and Christian Gascons. The initial version was a free-to-play collectible card game playable on mobile and PC, complete with historical military units and PvP options across platforms. It kept players managing resources and planning strategic deployments until its service was switched off in 2022 amid the difficulties of moving away from GameSparks.
According to GFAL’s roadmap, World War II: TCG enters beta in Q4 2026. Until then, the studio has not revealed which platforms it will support or whether blockchain-based card ownership will be part of the package.
More games in the pipeline
Legends, the football management entry, is likewise lined up for an alpha in Q4 2026. So far, little has been shared about how it will play, how player licensing will work, or what its competitive setup will look like.
Diamond Jewels Solitaire is intended to build on GFAL’s jewelry-themed games and is aiming for a beta in Q4. It joins the already-released Diamond Jewels Match, which blends match-3 puzzle mechanics with jewelry crafting.
