Mythical Games has announced that its blockchain-based soccer strategy title, FIFA Rivals, has surpassed one million downloads just weeks after launch.
To celebrate this achievement, the team is hosting a special giveaway where players can win one of three five-star Legendary Player collectibles.

FIFA Rivals has quickly become a standout title in the Web3 gaming space. It is now the third game from Mythical Games to reach the one million download milestone, joining the ranks of their earlier successful strategy games. The rapid growth reflects strong user interest in combining sports gameplay with blockchain-based digital assets.

Alongside the announcement, Mythical Games shared gameplay metrics from the early days of FIFA Rivals. Players have already completed five million matches, scoring 16 million goals and making 14 million interceptions. Goalkeepers have recorded four million saves, while gameplay has seen 500,000 free kicks and 300,000 fouls. The total number of corner kicks also reached one million, all within the game’s early mainnet phase

To mark this major download milestone, FIFA Rivals is organizing a community-driven giveaway. Players can enter the raffle by engaging with the official FIFA Rivals account on X (formerly Twitter), which has over 115,000 followers. To qualify, users must like and retweet the announcement post, follow the account, and comment with a GIF of their favorite football player.
Three winners will be selected to receive exclusive five-star Legendary Player characters as digital assets. Winners will be revealed on July 29, 2025.
