AMGI Studios has released the latest update for My Pet Hooligan, called “Fully Loaded”, bringing both gameplay improvements and new blockchain infrastructure.
The update introduces a fresh battle zone, upgraded mechanics, and sets the stage for upcoming on-chain cosmetics powered by the Karrat Protocol.
Major Gameplay Additions
The update introduces the Big Energy Carrot Stadium, a new arena available in both Hangout and competitive modes. Players can also try out the early version of the Faction Reputation system, where they pledge allegiance to factions and increase their reputation to unlock cosmetic rewards. The full system will arrive in a future patch.
Other changes include new reload animations, updated melee combat, weapon speed modifiers, and enhanced skateboard physics. With added gravity effects, skateboards now move faster downhill and feel more realistic. Players can also swap Skateboard and Water Pistol skins, allowing for more personal customization.
Web3 Infrastructure and Studio Chain
One of the most important changes is the introduction of web3 backend infrastructure. This addition allows blockchain-based items to be purchased through the in-game store and securely appear in inventories. The items will be available on the Studio Chain, an Arbitrum-powered network created in collaboration with the Karrat Foundation.
The Studio Chain will use $KARRAT tokens for transactions and aims to make web3 features easier to integrate into entertainment and gaming projects. My Pet Hooligan will act as the chain’s flagship game, showcasing benefits like in-game ownership and cross-platform interoperability.
Exclusive Cosmetics on the Horizon
The developers confirmed that exclusive cosmetics tied to blockchain integration will soon be available through the official marketplace. Some will be unlockable by playing the game or joining events, while others may be purchasable only. This move signals a stronger push toward a play-to-own model rather than the traditional play-to-earn approach, rewarding loyal players with digital ownership opportunities.
