Comprehensive Update to Celebrate Milestone
Wemade has rolled out a significant update for Legend of YMIR to mark 200 days following the game’s global release. This update enriches the gameplay experience in this Unreal Engine 5 MMORPG by introducing a myriad of new features and systems.
Raising the Bar in Player Progression
With the new update, the maximum character level has been increased to 80. Accompanying this change are new Mastery and Persona progression systems designed to offer players expanded growth opportunities. Adventurers can now explore new missions such as Lindwurm Cave and Hilder’s Labyrinth Floor 1. Additionally, the update includes enhancements to equipment upgrades and alchemy, which are integrated with the Premium Shop to streamline player progress further.
Amplified Competitive Play
The game’s competitive features have also received significant attention in the latest update. A new 3v3 Colosseum battle format has been introduced, emphasizing quick combat and strategic teamwork. Clans are provided with a new challenge in Sindri’s Lost Treasure Island, a dynamic battlefield spread across five islands. For those favoring cooperative play, the new World Raid Audhumla introduces a large-scale boss fight, while World Battlefront extends combat to multi-user engagements beyond single servers.
A new melee-focused class is currently under development, with expectations to launch in future updates along with other content scheduled for 2026, including Blood Valkyrie and Mimir’s Spring.
Special Events to Boost Engagement
In line with the anniversary celebrations, the game hosts a series of special events such as the Toast of Glory expedition and Tomte’s Golden Feast. These events renew and expand existing content, further enhancing the gaming experience. Players participating during the anniversary period will benefit from a 14-day login event, a 200-Day Special Pass, and discounted storage costs, among other perks.
Additionally, the 1st Global Disir Design Contest winner, named “Boitatázinha,” has been introduced to the game. An Indonesian language pack scheduled for release on May 16 will make the game more accessible to a broader audience.
Looking Ahead
The forthcoming 2nd YMIR Cup World Championship in June follows the successful inaugural tournament hosted in collaboration with Razer in Singapore. Moreover, the recent launch of the game on the Steam platform in April has further widened its accessibility.
With these comprehensive updates and engaging events, Wemade is committed to maintaining robust player engagement and expanding the Legend of YMIR community.
