If you’ve spent months watching for the Scarlet & Violet Prismatic Evolutions Super-Premium Collection, now is the moment: it’s showing as available at Amazon once more, priced at $274.99.
Amazon brought back a batch of scarce Pokémon TCG products for Labor Day, and this set is the star of the group.
TCGplayer puts the median listing for these at roughly $310, which makes $274.99 a reasonable ask. It’s nowhere near MSRP, but it’s reasonable.
The resale math, honestly
Market price lands somewhat under that, at about $257.54. Go through TCGplayer or eBay and you might trim a little off the total.
Those figures, though, don’t always cover delivery. Add shipping to the equation and the difference shrinks in a hurry.
If you’re holding unused credit or gift card balance on Amazon, that’s the more comfortable route. Same goes if you’d prefer a factory-sealed box from a major retailer over gambling on a third-party seller.
One detail worth noting: the listing is “sold and shipped” by Amazon itself, not a marketplace seller dressed up to look like it.

Why this set won’t die
Collectors and players have both kept Prismatic Evolutions in demand, and there’s one straightforward explanation: pull potential.
What’s sealed inside those packs is exactly why the Scarlet & Violet set continues climbing.
For a certain type of buyer, a box that might yield a $1500 ultra rare such as Umbreon ex – 161/131 — last year’s most valuable card — turns the asking price into something negotiable.
Personally, I’m not sold on the logic. Purchase a handful of these and you’re most of the way toward simply buying the chase card yourself.
That said, if further appreciation is your bet, the play is grabbing two: one to rip, one to keep sealed as an investment.
Is it worth it, though
Your call. “Market price” only reflects what buyers will currently pay, and willingness and value aren’t the same thing.
Consider the First Partner Illustration Collection sets. Roughly $34 is probably the lowest any of them have gone. It’s also over double the $14.99 MSRP they launched at.
Tracking down Pokémon TCG product at MSRP keeps getting tougher. More often than not, collectors end up paying market prices — Amazon included.
The other restocks worth a look

Those two sit close to where the market currently is, so buying them from Amazon today won’t cost you much of a premium.
What’s coming in 2026
Pokémon TCG has a stacked 2026 ahead, and the biggest release coming is Pokémon TCG: 30th Celebration, which goes live worldwide on September 16, 2026.
The set is a historic one, arriving everywhere at once. There isn’t a single non-foil card in it.
One of 30 different Pikachu cards is guaranteed in every pack. The release also introduces an opalescent “Futuristic Rare” tier, with Mew and Mewtwo illustrated by artist YOSHIROTTEN.
