Axie Pin Drop Live for A Week
Axie Pin Drop has kicked off, and it invites players into a match-3 title built in collaboration with Good Vibes Club. The event window stretches from August 3 to August 10, during which participants pile up points by matching pins and trade that performance for exclusive rewards.
Four separate leaderboards are in play, and each one measures something different: total points scored, the fastest completion of a full Axie set, how many Grail pins a player has collected, and a dedicated ranking reserved for GVC NFT holders.
Exclusive Rewards Available
The game ships with nine distinct Axie pins spread over three rarity tiers, topped off by a single ultra-rare Kotaro Grail. Strong scores unlock limited-edition pins, and the rarer the pin, the more it adds to a player’s leaderboard tally. Altogether, 5,889 unique Axie accessories can be won, among them the Ranger Helmet and the Bubble Goggles.
Playing the Game
Getting involved means heading to pindropgame.com and picking one of two modes: Classic or Frenzy. Neither mode is favoured over the other — both hand out capsules holding pins at the same rate. The higher a player scores, the more capsules come their way. Clearing 15,000 points, for instance, returns a single capsule, while 35,000 and 75,000 return two and three capsules respectively.
Challenges and Community Engagement
Running alongside the competition is a content challenge that pushes players to share their Axie Pin Drop moments in creative fashion. Submission categories stretch from gameplay guides through to funny moments, and a range of prizes is on the table for the winners. Entries close on August 10.
“All Axie rewards will be airdropped to qualifying winners one week after the event ends,” said the Axie team.
With the competition set to intensify across the coming week, active participation is anticipated from both existing players and GVC holders.
