Azra Games has completed another capital raise from a seed funding round led by famous investment and venture capital firm A16z to keep developing its NFT-themed Legions & Legends!
Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) led the seed funding round, while other investors included NFX, Coinbase Ventures, Play Ventures, and Franklin Templeton.
To date, Azra Games has received over $25M in seed funding, with A16z paving the way for the mass adoption of blockchain gaming. In addition, the investment firm announced earlier in 2022 the launch of a $600M fund to invest in blockchain gaming studios in order to promote and build the future of blockchain games.
It is also important to mention that Legions & Legends is being developed and run by Mark Otero, CEO and Founder of Azra Games, who has experience in AAA gaming studios like EA.
