Binance Labs, the incubation branch of Binance, has formally declared its collaboration with Delphinus Lab. The latter recently introduced an innovative open-source tool called zkWASM virtual machine. This tool facilitates trustless computations and application software development kits (SDKs).

Aim of the Partnership

This strategic partnership is geared towards empowering software developers. With Delphinus Lab’s invention, developers can now craft zero-knowledge applications. These apps can be constructed in the developers’ choice of programming languages and can be seamlessly integrated into any WebAssembly (WASM)-compatible platform.

Binance’s Vision

In expressing their dedication to this collaboration, Binance Labs emphasized its resolve to support groundbreaking projects that can augment the growth of Web3 applications. Yi He, co-founder of Binance and the lead at Binance Labs shared his enthusiasm. He expressed, “Delphinus Lab, with its zkWASM initiative, opens doors for traditional web2 developers to transition to the Web3 domain. We are eagerly anticipating Delphinus Lab’s leadership in zkWASM’s narrative. Our goal is to further the acceptance of Web3 applications among both software developers and their users.”

“Our zkWASM Hub introduces a streamlined multi-chain execution layer for developers to easily deploy and manage their WASM-backed apps in a dynamic rollup environment, said Sinka Gao, founder, and CEO of Delphinus Lab. “Our goal is to enable next-generation Web3 DApps that leverage the robustness of Web2 while embracing the decentralized, trustless nature of web3.”

WebAssembly, often termed WASM, stands as a universally recognized virtual machine. Conceived in 2017, this initiative was a joint venture involving tech behemoths like Google, Mozilla, Microsoft, and Apple. WASM’s primary function allows code to operate directly on browsers, making it compatible with popular coding languages that developers globally prefer.

Delphinus Lab believes in the transformative potential of their zkWASM virtual machine. This invention is envisioned as a trustless conduit that can link sophisticated applications running on WASM-based smart contracts to multiple blockchain systems.
