Emerald blockchain is a ParaTime built on Oasis and stands for parallel runtime within the Oasys ecosystem. The Oasis network is a Layer-1 solution designed to be scalable, versatile, and with an emphasis on privacy. It also consists of two components:
- The consensus layer is a secure and scalable proof-of-stake set of decentralized validator nodes.
- Parallel runtimes (ParaTimes): The ParaTime layers can host multiple runtimes simultaneously, in parallel, hence the Paratime term.
The release of Emerald is supported by a Launch Presale available within the game. Some unique NFT Cuties are featured exclusively on the Oasis protocol. Some Cuties hold rare genes to unlock special valuable tribute NFTs.
