Dacoco Introduces New AI Tool to Enhance Alien Worlds Lore Through User-Generated Stories

Switzerland-based developer Dacoco has recently announced the launch of Lynx AI. This new generative AI tool allows users to create their own story-driven content within the Alien Worlds universe. With Lynx AI, users can expand on the original lore of Alien Worlds, which was created by renowned sci-fi author Kevin J. Anderson, known for his work on Dune and Star Wars.

The tool, described as an expert on the Alien Worlds universe, can be used as a virtual librarian for the game’s lore while also generating new ideas to inspire players. This is made possible through Theorize, which integrates the adaptive capabilities of the Large Language Model into Lynx AI.

“The advent of generative AI tools will make content creation easier than ever and enforcing IPs that we have enjoyed for decades will become even more difficult as a deluge of community-generated content takes over,” stated Dacoco CEO Saro McKenna. “We believe Lynx and Tokenized Lore prepare Alien Worlds for this change and position it as the media model of the future.”

To encourage users to create new content, Alien Worlds’ grant program, Galactic Hubs, is offering rewards for user contributions. Galactic Hubs recently initiated a $50,000 grant program to support game developers in creating games based on the lore created by Alien Worlds players.
