Decentral accounts for almost 60% of the total traffic in Decentraland and it has just been granted $1M worth of $MANA. This grant will help Decentral Games’ $ICE token amid their sit-and-to tournament mode.
Both the communities were involved in the debate but finally, the proposal has been accepted by a tight margin. This is the highest grant ever in the Decentraland ecosystem.

These incentives will enable us to create further stability to our ecosystem ahead of rolling out our new sit-and-go poker tournament mode that we believe will bring a whole new experience to our Decentraland venues and will help us to onboard thousands of new users to the nascent metaverse.”

The CEO also shed some light on this grant and said the following:

Since then, we’ve purchased 1000+ parcels of LAND and invested millions of dollars to build engaging content to attract and retain over 60% of the platform’s users.”
