Turns out the leaks nailed it. On yesterday afternoon, EA officially announced that EA Sports FC 27 will land on consoles and PC come September 25.
Yet the release date isn’t what’s likely to raise eyebrows. That honor goes to the sticker on the most premium edition, which reaches €159.99.

Alongside yesterday’s announcement came the debut trailer and the opening of pre-orders, meaning the entire lineup is already laid out. For consoles, the base game is priced at €79.99, while PC players pay €69.99.
The editions stack up fast
As it does each year, the Ultimate Edition returns, priced at €99.99 on PC and €109.99 on consoles — the middle rung of the ladder.
After that comes the Ultimate Plus Edition, and this is where the cost really jumps.
Expect to pay €149.99 on PC and €159.99 on consoles. Both of the Ultimate tiers grant access a full week ahead of the official launch, so getting in early isn’t what sets them apart.
What the €159.99 actually buys
The Ultimate Plus loads on the bonuses. Included are the Seasons 1 to 5 Premium Passes, 10,000 FC Points spread across 5 months, a FUT 85+ OVR International ICON Player Item (untradeable), a Hall of FUT Player Pick (untradeable), plus one extra FUT Player Evo slot.
And it goes beyond FC 27 alone. The package also bundles in EA Sports FC 26 content: a FUT 93+ OVR ICON Player Pick (untradeable), a FUT Player Dribbling stats Evo, and a FUT Player Physical stats Evo.
In short, a single edition delivering Ultimate Team perks across two games. Whether the price adds up for you likely comes down to just how much time you already pour into FUT.
Pre-order and you get a little more
Everyone who pre-orders — regardless of edition — receives bonus content on top of whatever their tier already grants. EA isn’t forcing you into the top-priced package simply to claim the pre-order reward.
Pre-orders have gone live now for every version. For everyone else, the countdown begins September 25 — or a week sooner if you shelled out for an Ultimate tier.
