Finalbosu, the anime-themed Web3 project, has announced that the official reveal of its sold-out NFT collection will begin on May 5.
The project, which features 8,888 unique tokens, will unveil the digital characters in stages over five days, with a new group of characters revealed each day. The team confirmed that NFTs not revealed until the final day will have a greater chance of being among the rarest in the series, known as the “Final Bosses.”
Unfolding a Story Through Staged Reveals
The staggered reveal adds suspense and excitement to the project, encouraging collectors to follow each day’s update closely. The reveal schedule includes different character types tied to the project’s fictional world:
- May 5: Mujins
- May 6: Kodakas
- May 7: Kaichukans
- May 8: Citizens
- May 9: Kazegami and Final Bosses
This format not only builds anticipation but also keeps the community engaged as each group is revealed. Holders of unrevealed tokens are especially hopeful, knowing that the rare “Final Boss” characters—limited and highly valued, will only appear on the last day.
Finalbosu tells the story of a universe where people are reborn without any memory of their previous lives. These characters grow and evolve through time, activating different elements within the narrative that eventually lead to the birth of a Finalbosu… a powerful, mythical figure in the project’s world. The idea blends storytelling with dynamic character development, supported by unique artwork.
Creators Behind the Project
The project was launched by three brothers. Kevin, Jeff, and Mustayaki—together with long-time creative partner John. Mustayaki, who leads the visual side of the project, brings a strong anime influence to the art style, helping the collection stand out in the Web3 space.
The team’s background includes storytelling, design, and branding, which they plan to expand into other areas such as gaming, animation, and even physical merchandise.
